Desert Storm Over a Valley City
Every good book gets at least one bad review by some writer who just wants to stand out. I wonder if the New Testament ever got a bad review. Some scribe around 100 A.D. probably said something like:
“Messiah? How about Mes-See-You-Later? This is another failed attempt at a sequel of an old classic. Oh wow, the good guy dies in the end. Real edgy … NOT! And where’s the vocabulary? I read the phrase ‘brood of vipers’ at least four times. I was deeply disappointed in the lack of imagery. The New Testament is a major flop.”
